PhD Thesis submitted in 2016 on the topic, “Intellectual Property Rights, International Conventions & TRIPS: The Indian Experience in the Realm of Public Health” under the guidance of Dr. Raju K. Thadikkaran and Prof. (Dr.) Christopher May.

The study examines the impact of TRIPS and the new IPR regime on the right to health and access to affordable medicines in the developing countries, especially India.

  • Project Coordinator of ``Pathways to Higher Education``

    Year: 2010-2013

    Project Coordinator of “Pathways to Higher Education”, a three year project initiated by Ford Foundation, USA, in association with Centre for the Study of Culture and Society, Bangalore. U C College was one among the nine institutions selected from India for the project. The project was intended to assess the challenges and opportunities in achieving social justice and empowerment in campuses through extra-curricular initiatives. The beneficiaries of the project were selected undergraduate students (15 students per year)from socially and economically backward circumstances who were encouraged to undertake various activities like audio-visual productions, theatrical presentations, journal publication etc. and full-fledged training was given for all the initiatives. The documentary made by the students (all aspects of pre- and post-production done by students) on the life and culture of Lakshadweep by visiting Kavarathi was adjudged the best project of 2013 among those submitted by the nine participating institutions.
